Kiss My Patootie Collective: Coorparoo’s Vibrant Hub for Handmade Creativity
The Kiss My Patootie Collective, nestled in the heart of Coorparoo Marketplace, is redefining the local shopping experience by bringing together over 50 Australian makers under one colourful roof. This dynamic pop-up store celebrates the quirky, the handcrafted, and the joyfully unexpected—offering everything from retro-inspired fashion to whimsical home wares and artisan gifts. Every product is thoughtfully made by someone with a passion for their craft
Founded by Brisbane-based artist and designer Donna Linton, Kiss My Patootie began in 1999 as a one-woman creative venture. Over the years, Donna has honed her craft across various mediums, including sewing, sculpting, jewellery making, painting, screen printing, candle making, and tie-dyeing. Her passion for handmade artistry has culminated in the establishment of this collective, which not only showcases her own vibrant creations but also provides a platform for fellow artisans.
The Kiss My Patootie Collective began as a pop-up in Greenslopes and later blossomed in Stones Corner and then West End before finding its new home in Coorparoo. It’s more than just a pop up store; it’s a living, breathing celebration of Brisbane’s creative spirit.
“I’ve always believed in the magic of handmade,” says Donna. “Opening the Collective allowed me to share that magic with others and create a space where local creative’s could not only showcase their work but feel part of a supportive community. There’s real heart in handmade, and our collective is all about bringing that heart to the people.”
“Being part of the Kiss My Patootie Collective has been a game-changer,” says a fellow maker. “It’s more than a retail space—it’s a supportive community that champions creativity and collaboration.”
Located at 23 Harries Road, Coorparoo, the Kiss My Patootie Collective is fully wheelchair accessible and offers ample parking, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors to explore and support local craftsmanship. The store operates seven days a week, with hours from 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 3 pm on weekends
Whether you’re an artist, a creative soul, or just someone who appreciates something different, the Kiss My Patootie Collective is worth a visit. With rotating makers, new arrivals weekly, and the energy of a street market inside a cosy store—it’s a retail experience with a heartbeat.
